We have started looking at different way to accomplish the goals of gears, shooting, and climbing. We have taken a lot of inspiration from RI3D in reference to a climbing mechanism using velcro to grab the rope, as well we have used CAD to make a COTS winch that we plan on testing/ using. To accomplish the task of
loading gears and balls from one side of the robot, we are considering using an extendable fabric cover to move balls into the hopper, and retracting it to allow balls into the gear box (gotta love jokes). We have determined that we will be using the 2 ft tall volume, and have started CADing out our frame. We have also started making a website to use for scouting, to allow anyone on scout team to be able to record matches.
