On Saturday, Team 967 The Iron Lions wrapped up the 4 day FRC World Championships in St. Louis. 606 teams in total were there, including some from Canada, Israel, China, Mexico, England, and other countries. We competed in the Galileo division with 75 other teams. The team ended up being picked 2nd by the 4th ranked alliance of 3618, 1619, and 3026, which advanced to the division semifinals before being eliminated. The competition featured robots designed by some of the best teams from across the world. In addition to the robotics competition, there was an Innovation Faire which included booths from many colleges and companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, Bosch, Qualcomm, Boeing, and a few others. This was the last competition we will be competing in the 2015 season, the team looks forward to a busy offseason of improving our own skills and training new members.
