Dark Matter at the Iowa State Championship

On Saturday March 7th, Dark Matter competed at the Iowa State Championships.  Altogether there were 4 states represented among the 48 competing teams, which also included one team traveling from China!  Dark Matter Finished the qualifying rounds with a record of 5-2, ranked third in their division.  They were chosen by team 3788 Juggernauts from Benton High School to compete on the second ranked alliance for the elimination rounds.  Their alliance advanced all the way to the finals and the team was awarded the control award for their accomplishments in software development as well as the second place Inspire award, the highest honor given to teams. Dark Matter will compete at the North Star Super-Regional in Des Moines, Iowa March 26th-28th.
